From Startup to Standout: How Paws & Partners 4X Revenue in 10 Months


The Client


Founded in July 2024, Paws & Partners entered the competitive animal care space of Muntinlupa, Alabang: a bustling city in Metro Manila, Philippines. It had a bold proposition and proposition: to be the city's first and largest all-in-one veterinary, grooming, and boarding facility.


Within a 20-mile radius, no other competitor offered the same convenience under one roof. This positioned Paws & Partners as one of the most comprehensive animal health-and-wellness centers in the city.


The founding team of three had a comprehensive, yet unusual, blend of skills for this particular venture. While only one was a veteran licensed veterinarian, the other two brought nearly a decade of experience in marketing and operations. However, the pet industry was entirely new to them. Their vision was clear, but breaking into a market where residents already had trusted vets, groomers, and boarding providers was going to be a challenge.


The Problem


The team quickly realized they were up against deep-rooted customer habits. Many pet owners already had long-standing relationships with service providers, even if those providers and their corresponding facilities were spread across multiple locations.


The challenge had two dimensions:


  1. Awareness: Educating a crowded market about Paws & Partners' unique “all-in-one” model.
  2. Trust-building: Convincing customers to switch from familiar providers in an industry where trust is everything.

With only startup-level resources, Paws & Partners couldn't afford expensive campaigns. The question was: How do you build presence, shift behavior, and inspire trust — all on a lean/start-up budget?


The Solution


Kairos crafted a minimal-spend, data-backed, insight-driven strategy built around understanding both the market and the customer psyche.


  1. Market Study & Profiling
    We mapped out competitors, analyzed customer responses to different marketing materials, and identified key demographics. Insights revealed that 75% to 78% of pet wellness facility customers were women, and most lived or worked within a 20-mile radius of the facility. Online ads emerged as the strongest channel to reach them.

  2. Wave-Based Ad Campaigns (with split-testing)
    Instead of a one-shot push, we launched ads in phased waves, testing and refining every two weeks:

    • Wave 1: General awareness of the all-in-one facility concept
    • Wave 2: Veterinary care spotlight
    • Wave 3: Grooming services spotlight
    • Wave 4: Boarding services spotlight
    • Subsequent Waves (5 and beyond): We doubled down on what worked best. Strong-performing promos and service offerings were boosted further, while weaker campaigns were refined into formats and messages that resonated more with online audiences. This ensured maximum impact at minimal spend, stretching every dollar while scaling reach.

  3. Community Partnerships
    To capture more traditional, higher-income households, we went beyond digital. Paws & Partners appeared at pop-up booths, gated subdivisions, newsletters, and neighborhood chat groups (Primarily Viber, WhatsApp, and Meta Messenger). This mix reinforced credibility in spaces where personal recommendations matter most.

  4. Customer Feedback Loop
    Every customer was asked: “How did you hear about us?” and “What worked, what didn't?” These insights became a live feedback engine that allowed us to fine-tune campaigns in real time, ensuring messaging resonated with the actual customer voice.

The Results


The results spoke for themselves. In less than 10 months, Paws & Partners grew monthly revenue from $10,000 → $45,000+ — a 4.5x increase.


  • Successful digital dominance:
    • 71% of on-site customers cited online ads as the reason for their first visit
    • 68.8% of total revenue traced directly back to online-driven traffic

  • Accelerated financial trajectory: On track to surpass $100,000 in annual revenue within 18-24 months thanks to its launch of both 24/7 operations and on-demand home services, both of which are currently being promoted by Kairos.
